Kiku (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Jishu Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our voice & audio intelligence platform at kiku.jishulabs.com (the “Service”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of the audio you record or upload and the transcripts we generate for you.

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Audio recordings: The conversations you record or upload so Kiku can transcribe them, stored in your personal, encrypted workspace. Audio recordings can be sensitive, and we treat them accordingly.
• Generated transcripts: The transcripts, summaries, speaker labels, action items, and searchable insight Kiku produces for you.
• Usage data: Minutes transcribed, templates used, export formats requested, and feature usage patterns.
• Billing data: When you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes your payment details. We never store full card numbers.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

• To process your audio and generate accurate transcripts, summaries, and speaker labels
• To maintain your personal transcript library, history, and saved versions
• To process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe
• To communicate important service updates and security notices
• To enforce usage limits (for example, the free-tier monthly minutes cap)
• To improve the accuracy and quality of our transcription and summarization

The privacy of your audio recordings and generated transcripts is our top priority. Audio is processed only to produce your transcripts and is encrypted at rest. Everything you upload and everything Kiku generates is scoped to your account. We never share your audio or transcripts with other users, use them to train AI models, sell or license them, or make them publicly accessible. You can delete any recording or transcript, or your entire history, at any time through Settings.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with PostgreSQL, protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) policies that ensure only you can access your own audio and transcripts. Data is encrypted at rest and transmitted over TLS. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may export your transcripts at any time, and you may request complete account deletion — which removes all associated data permanently.

We use the following third-party services to operate Kiku:

• Supabase: Authentication, PostgreSQL database, and application storage.
• Stripe: Subscription billing and payment processing for Pro plans.
• Speech & AI providers (Deepgram, OpenAI, Anthropic): For transcribing and summarizing your audio. Audio and transcripts are sent securely via API and are not retained by the provider for training.
• Netlify: Hosting and production web infrastructure.
• Resend: Transactional email such as account and security notices.

You have the right to access your personal data, export your transcripts, correct inaccurate information, delete your account and all associated data, and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, visit Settings or contact us at the email below.

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts are loaded on our platform. For details, see our Cookie Policy.
